by Katherine Hannigan
Young heroine Emmaline wants a bunny more than anything else. Unfortunately she lives in a tidy town whose mayor has proclaimed all vegetation and animals as untidy leaving Emmaline always only and lonely. Until one sleepless night when Emmaline takes a trip and finds a untidy place around the corner full of all things wonderful. Hannigan’s soft watercolor illustrations add a simple charm to the story which helps offset her use of made-up words targeted readers may find challenging.
